Have you ever been on one of these? A low carb diet?
Personally, low carb nutrition is pretty harsh. Like a punishment. Now that I think about it, I think subconsciously this is the whole thing behind diets in general.
What do you think? Am I on to something here?
Truth is diet means restrictions, off the diet means freedom! Anything goes!
After the punishment is over (woops, I mean the low carb diet) you go back to your old eating habits. Your favorite foods. Your old favorite fast food, or bar food, ETC. You start feeling physically yucky. You start feeling guilty. And worst of all,
==>> the weightbegins to come back.
Enter! Another diet… Repeat, rinse, repeat…
So, maybe we need to clarify what we mean by carbohydrate.
Is there really such a thing as a good carb?
First, let’s list the bad carbs and get those off the table.
Both processed white and even wheat flour and sugary items like twinkeys, cookies, ETC… The bad carbs even include anything packaged like cereals, crackers, prepared bottled items like salad dressings, even ice cream has wheat in it!
Now, let’s talk good carbs because this leaves a ton of things you can eat.
Every vegetable you can imagine, even root veggies like potatoes and sweet potatoes are fine in moderation.
You can eat most fruits within reason. Fruit does have a lot of sugar but honestly, I’ve never heard of anyone who overdosed on a bowl of apples.
You can also have some healthy grains like brown rice and quinoa is fine for most people.
Notice how the above short list of good carbs are unpackaged foods that come from nature not from a manufactures lab?
Let’s stop this madness and get off the low carb high carb thing and just
==>> learn to get a lean body with the right information…
