Fad Diets: The difference Between The Diet Solution Program and The 3 Day Diet – Which Will Get You a Lean Body?

Many of my loyal readers want to know if The Diet Solution Program (DSP) is like other fad diets as in the very popular 3 Day Diet. They want a lean body of course and they want to know which one will work. Oh, and they want fast results too.

Here’s the short answer:

Getting back to the 3 Day Diet…

It has surprisingly lasted since 1985… Passed around the office ETC. And, now, around cyber space.

I’ll briefly give you the pros and cons of the 3 day diet, then tell you why the DSP will satisfy you for fully since its’ a healthy eating lifestyle you can adopt and live with forever, not just for 3 days.

The 3 Day Diet promises rapid weight loss, cleansing, lower cholesterol, and increased energy. However, there’s no science to back it up. Especially the 3 day on and off rotation thing…

As the name implies, the 3 Day Diet lasts three days. Then you are told to stop for 4-5 days to avoid problems such as starvation mode with this low calorie torture. You can alternate indefinitely back an forth between the 3 day diet and the undefined 4-5 days of “normal” eating.

The best thing about the 3 day diet is that is does discourage a lot of processed packaged food. This alone will help you lose weight as I said earlier. Any time you jump the junk you will lose weight…

Having said that, I will not list the diet here because it really does not matter. Its’ so predictable. Like, 1 slice of toast with peanut butter, 1/2 banana and 1 cup black coffee for breakfast. Dinner is something like 3 ounces of protein with 2 cups of veggies. And, you must, (according to the diet) not vary the portion size, or substitute food items. So, if the diet calls for asparagus, and you don’t like it…too bad.

Here’s the deal with fad diets. They are built around the premise that somehow by some unspecified, vague, magical force, the combination of any low calorie food is supposed to create a unique metabolic reaction and boost fat burning?

This strange belief in the diet magic is why fad diets persist and probably always will.

This is why it’s my job to try to persuade some of you to please ditch the dangerous diet rut and consider a better alternative.
